Rubber Tyre Compound
For Industry & Export
We offer a range of compounds which include Tread compound, sidewall compound and solid tyre compounds, suitable for off-road applications such as quarry tyres, tractor tyres, solid forklift tyres and municipal vehicle tyres.
Produced by ambient processing of used tyres into smaller particles by mechanical means at or above ambient or room temperature. Produces granulate particles of rubber whose maximum dimension is between 0.5 mm and 10 mm in size.
Produced by either ambient or, cryogenic means which uses nitrogen to freeze the feedstock allowing easy fracturing, produces powder particles of rubber below 1 mm in size, and fine powder particles of rubber below 500 µm in size.
Once all the rubber element of a tyre has been reclaimed, the remaining components are tyre wire and fibre. These are collected using a range of electromagnets and cyclone extractions. The fibre which is a mixture of nylon, rayon and polyester, for projects using tyre fibre please contact our R and D team.
Shred is pieces of used tyres, where the rubber size is between 50mm to 300mm including embedded wire or textile material. Whilst chip is pieces of used tyres, where the rubber size is between 10mm to 50mm.
Artificial turf is now recognised by football organisations like FIFA and UEFA, being recommended for use at all levels including Champions league and the World Cup. Our granulate is used as infill and elastic sub layers.
The full range of tyre shred, tyre chips, tyre granulate and tyre powders are used in construction, as raw material substitutes, reducing the cost and saving the environment.
Tyre Granulate and Tyre Powders provide good physical and chemical properties for use in production of many items such as sealants, carpet under lay, tiles and moulded rubber parts.
Tyre granulate is used in the production of sports track and courts. Whilst Tyre Chips and Tyre Granules are ideal for garden mulch with good drainage and weed suppression.
