There are a range of sizes generated from the recycling of Industrial and passenger tyres, which fall into 4 main categories.

  1. Rough Tyre Shred

    Pieces of used tyres, where the rubber size is between 50mm to 300mm, which has exposed wire and fibre material.

    Typical uses are: Energy production, Cement and lime production, Pyrolysis, and Civil engineering.

  2. Clean Tyre Shred

    Pieces of used tyres, where the rubber size is between 50mm to 300mm, which has less than 5% exposed wire and fibre material.

    Typical uses are: Sound and Thermal insulation, Collision barriers and Temporary road surfaces.


  3. Rough Tyre Chip

    Pieces of used tyres, where the rubber size is between 10mm to 50mm, which has exposed wire and fibre material.

    Typical uses are: Embankments, Noise barriers and landfill engineering.


  4. Clean Tyre Chip

    Pieces of used tyres, where the rubber size is between 10mm to 50mm, which has no exposed wire and less than 5% fibre material exposed.

    Typical uses are: Equestrian menage, Playground surfaces, Temporary surfaces and Sound insulation.
